Cameron Civil Limited is well equipped with a large modern fleet of heavy machinery. Excavators from 5-40 ton, bulldozers, compactors, tractors, dumptrucks, graders and rollers all available.

SUSTAINABILITY
Cameron Civil Ltd is proactively minimizing our waste by reusing or rehoming as much as possible.
We analyse what the project entails and identify items we can make the best use of.
RECYCLING
Clearing of trees and shrub will be mulched and used on parks and council reserves, and logs for firewood.
Surplus clay and topsoil will be incorporated into other projects.
Demolition will be by offering removal for free reuse, crushing concrete, bricks etc for reuse on site.
Surplus off cut materials will be sent to the appropriate recyclers or repurposed for another task.
We are also focused on the minimizing of our Carbon output, we have identified some key initiatives that can reduce the energy required for us to build a quality project.
ENERGY SAVINGS
Purchasing and using the most fuel efficient machinery as practical.
Utilizing GPS machine control for “do it once” reducing machine time.
Utilizing trucks to do “backloading”, cart a product both ways so twice as much product for half the cost.
Vehicle shutdown timers, minimize idling time.
Selecting products with low carbon output and high recyclability.
Since 2019 we adopted the Governments “Measuring emissions interactive work book” for monitoring our Carbon output versus our Carbon Input. We now have 3283 surplus tonnes of carbon since we first started monitoring!
The Pine, Douglas Fir, and native forest plantings that we have are breathing all our carbon emissions in and leaving some extra for other companies that support us..
With our Recycling and Energy Saving initiatives, we are also passing on significant project savings for our Clients.
